My passion is the dogs and the breeds, and the sport I do. That's pig hunting mainly.

To breed a beautiful confirmation hunting dog that can suit a lot of people, and catch pigs is what I love to do.

The real secret is to have a dog that can catch a pig, and keep them in one place until you can sort it.

A physical healthy sport. This is why I am into pig hunting.

My background is I have been farming all my life, left school at 14 years of age and went mustering.

Dogs and horses have been my life! My passion.

How I started…

My father and two uncles were hunters and as a child around 5 or 6 years old I saw them bring home pigs and that.

As a child the pigs looked huge, with big jaws, and that was exciting. As was duck shooting.

I was brought up on all this type of hunting and gathering for a purpose.

So when I left school, this was a big part of my life. Hunting and gathering a feed.

This was our main food source. To put food in the freezer for the family.

I enjoyed this so much I just carried it on...

I have been breeding the Lockley dogs since 1974…

I had a couple of dogs great dogs, mated them and their prodigy turned out pretty special so I have kept the line exactly the same as it was around 35 years ago.
